AEW WrestleDream 2026 Start Time, Match Card and How to Watch
AEW WrestleDream is on pay-per-view Saturday, Oct. 17.

Correction (22 October): We changed the end-time, TV-schedule and FAQ sections below from before-the-show wording to past tense, because WrestleDream was held on Oct. 17. No results changed.

Correction (19 October): WrestleDream has been held, so this page now carries the results. The earlier version, written before the show, listed only announced matches.

Results — At AEW WrestleDream on Saturday, Oct. 17, in Orlando, Will Ospreay kept the AEW World Championship in the Clockwork Carnage main event, and Hangman Adam Page, Bandido and Brody King won the World Trios Championship from Swerve Strickland and The New Level. It was the only title change on the card, per AEW's results page and Fightful.

Ilja Dragunov made his AEW debut, introduced by Renee Paquette; he did not wrestle on the card. The Tailgate Brawl pre-show and the Motor City Machine Guns vs. FTR opener of their best-of-five series: AEW's results page has the Machine Guns winning, while Fightful's page listed no winner, so we are not counting it here.

How the finishes went (pinfall or submission) is on AEW's results page only, so we leave them out. The earlier announced-card details follow below as they were before the show.

What time does AEW WrestleDream start?

AEW's pay-per-view page gives the time as "8pm ET / 5pm PT." Pro Wrestling Dot Net's lineup has the same start, written as 7 Central, 8 Eastern. We re-read AEW's page on Sunday, Oct. 11, at 5 a.m. ET, and the time hadn't changed.

WrestleDream Tailgate Brawl7 p.m.6 p.m.Check local listingsTNT, HBO Max
WrestleDream main card8 p.m.7 p.m.5 p.m.Pay-per-view

Nobody we read prints a Mountain time, so we don't either. One number to ignore: AEW's event calendar shows "7:00pm ET" for the Orlando show. That's the listing for people going to the building, and the broadcast time is the 8 p.m. one on the pay-per-view page.

Which matches has AEW announced?

Four title matches show up in outside lineups as of Sunday, Oct. 11, after the Grand Slam: France Collision aired, and three of them are in AEW's own show recaps too.

Three of the eight Clockwork Carnage spots are filled. Samoa Joe beat Jack Perry in a qualifier on the Oct. 6 Dynamite from Paris, by AEW's results page, which also has Ospreay keeping the title against Kazuchika Okada that night. Mike Bailey beat Lee Moriarty in the Oct. 10 Collision qualifier, by AEW's Collision recap and POST Wrestling. POST Wrestling lists five more qualifiers for the Wednesday, Oct. 14 show, among them Darby Allin defending the TNT title against Hechicero and Kazuchika Okada defending the International title against Myron Reed; AEW's own pages didn't spell those out when we checked.

Three more matches are in outside lineups only. POST Wrestling and Wrestling Inc. list Jon Moxley defending the Continental title against Mark Davis, and POST Wrestling lists Andrade El Idolo against Tommaso Ciampa for the National title and Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor against Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron for the women's tag titles. AEW's Collision recap has Statlander and Cameron winning a contenders' match on Oct. 10 without naming the date of the title match, so those three stay out of the table until AEW's pages list them.

AEW WrestleDream 2026: Saturday, Oct. 17, 8 p.m. ET pay-per-view from Orlando, with the Tailgate Brawl at 7 p.m. ET on TNT

What is Clockwork Carnage?

A new match type, and the main event. AEW describes it in two stages. Two wrestlers picked at random start, and another enters every three minutes until all eight are in. Get pinned or submit during that stretch and you're out.

Then the clock starts. Whoever is left gets 15 minutes, every pinfall or submission counts as one fall, and the wrestler with the most falls at the end leaves as AEW World Champion. As AEW's recap points out, the champion could lose the title without ever being pinned.

How can I watch WrestleDream?

It isn't on TBS or TNT; it's a pay-per-view. AEW's page lists these outlets.

The Tailgate Brawl is the free part. TBS and TNT's published listings have it at 7 p.m. ET on TNT in place of that Saturday's Collision, and Pro Wrestling Dot Net says it's simulcast on HBO Max.

What time does WrestleDream end?

We did not find an end time from AEW. Its pay-per-view page, re-read on Sunday, Oct. 11, before the show, gave only the 8 p.m. ET start.

What aired in the days before?

The go-home shows share one night. Dynamite aired on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 8 p.m. ET on TBS, Collision followed at 10 p.m. ET on the same channel, and a WrestleDream countdown special was listed at 11. Every night of the current week is on our WWE and AEW TV schedule.

Two other big cards came first: WWE Money in the Bank on Saturday, Oct. 10, where Penta and Tiffany Stratton won the briefcases, and TNA Bound for Glory on Sunday, Oct. 11. More AEW pages are on our AEW page.

👉 WrestleDream was held Saturday, Oct. 17: 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on pay-per-view, Tailgate Brawl at 7 p.m. ET on TNT.
