Reacher shows the hybrid that has quietly become standard: three episodes up front to hook you, then one a week to keep the conversation alive. Strange New Worlds never blinked and runs the old-fashioned way, one hour every Thursday for ten weeks.

How do you plan a week around this?
Anchor on the day, not the show. Wednesday belongs to Prime Video and Apple; Thursday is a Paramount+ and Hulu night; Sunday still means Paramount+ drama. Everything unlocks at 3 a.m. Eastern except Prime Video, which arrives the evening before.
If you only pay for one service at a time, a weekly show is an argument for waiting. Five weeks of Lioness at the current Paramount+ rate costs more than picking the season up complete in October.
