WWE SmackDown Results This Week: Winners, Title Changes and What's Next

Spoiler note: this page lists results from the most recent episode.
Quick answer — Results from WWE SmackDown on Friday, Oct. 16, in Sacramento, Calif.: Trick Williams beat Johnny Gargano, Paige beat Nikki Bella, and Cody Rhodes was awarded a disqualification win over Baron Corbin. No title changed hands, and the Damian Priest vs. R-Truth match ended on a referee stoppage that WWE.com and Wrestling Inc. score differently.
Who won on WWE SmackDown on Friday, Oct. 16?
WWE.com's results page has five "def." lines for the night; Wrestling Inc.'s live report matches four of them. The Priest and R-Truth row is the one the two don't agree on.
| Match | Winner | How | Title change? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trick Williams vs. Johnny Gargano (non-title) | Williams | Pinfall after the Book End | No |
| Paige vs. Nikki Bella | Paige | Pinfall, with her feet on the ropes after a roll-up | No |
| Damian Priest vs. R-Truth | Sources differ | Referee stoppage | No |
| Rey Fenix vs. Ricky Saints (AAA Cruiserweight Championship) | Fenix | Disqualification | No — Fenix kept the title |
| Cody Rhodes vs. Baron Corbin | Rhodes | Disqualification | No |
About the Priest row. WWE.com's line reads Priest over R-Truth via referee stoppage. Wrestling Inc. says the referee called it off after checking on Truth and lists no winner. We haven't named one in the table because the two don't match. In the Fenix match, both list Fenix as the winner by disqualification, with Saints shoving the referee in the finish.
In the main event, Randy Orton interfered and sent Rhodes into the ring steps, which is why Rhodes was awarded the win. That is a scripted finish on the show, not a real injury report.
Did any titles change hands on the Oct. 16 SmackDown?
No. The only title match on WWE.com's results page was Fenix defending the AAA Cruiserweight Championship, and he kept it by disqualification. The champions are on our current WWE champions list.

What's next after the Oct. 16 SmackDown?
The next SmackDown is Friday, Oct. 23, at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT on USA Network from the Toyota Arena in Ontario, Calif. Times, cities and the Fridays after that are on our SmackDown start time page.
