Three complete seasons before breakfast, a DC film at night and a football game from Melbourne. Thursday is the fullest day of the week.

Four services handed over finished seasons within the same three hours this morning: Crew Girl on Netflix, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives on Hulu and the last run of Colin From Accounts on Paramount+. Nothing is being held back weekly.

Then the day does something unusual. It keeps going. Supergirl arrives on HBO Max, and Netflix carries an NFL game live from Australia at 8:35 p.m. ET — two evening events on a schedule that normally empties out after sunrise.

What is new on Netflix today?

Three titles and a football game.

Crew Girl is here whole — eight episodes at about 44 minutes, a Canadian prep-school rowing drama with Miku Martineau steering a boys' eight. Hour-by-hour timing sits on its own page.

The Perfect Lie is the Dutch one worth your evening: seven episodes, adapted from Saskia Noort's novel De Eetclub, about a family folded into a wealthy dinner club in Bergen until a villa burns and a friend dies. Netflix put it out globally.

Call My Agent! The Movie closes out the French agency comedy: Andéa is directing now, and her lead actor walks the night before the shoot.

What time does the 49ers–Rams game start on Netflix?

Kickoff is 8:35 p.m. ET from the Melbourne Cricket Ground — the first NFL game ever played in Australia, and it is included in every Netflix plan at no extra charge.

In Melbourne that is Friday morning, 10:35 a.m. AEST. Noah Eagle calls it with Luke Kuechly, Tom Pelissero and MJ Acosta-Ruiz on the sidelines, Terry McAulay on rules. It also streams on NFL+ for eligible US viewers.

What is new on Hulu and Paramount+ today?

Hulu has all five episodes of Mormon Wives season five — half the usual order, because production stopped partway through filming. The timing and cast page has the detail.

Paramount+ is doing two things at once. All eight episodes of Colin From Accounts season three landed together, and it is the final season; Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer wrote and star. Separately, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds adds episode eight of ten, "Orders of Magnitude," on its usual Thursday schedule. That season ends Sept. 24.

What is new on HBO Max today?

Supergirl makes its streaming debut — 108 minutes, Craig Gillespie directing Milly Alcock, 76 days after the June theatrical run. An American Sign Language version goes up the same day. Warner Bros. Discovery published no clock for it, so our timing page works through the precedent instead. The film also plays on the HBO channel Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.

The docuseries Death and Mystery in the Amazon arrives the same day.

👉 Six of today's nine arrivals are complete seasons or films. If you only have one evening, the binge math favours Colin From Accounts — eight half-hours, and it ends properly.

Where else can you watch these?

Nowhere else, mostly. Everything today is exclusive to the service it opened on, with one wrinkle: Mormon Wives also sits inside Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers, and on Disney+ outside the US.

What those tiers cost this month is in our 2026 plans and prices rundown; which fall titles go weekly rather than all at once is tracked in the release-pattern guide. Some links here may earn us a commission at no cost to you.

FAQ

Why do most of these say 3 a.m.? Netflix set its clock to midnight in Los Angeles and the rest copied the habit. The full service-by-service breakdown is here.

Is anything left this week? Yes — Friday and the weekend are mapped day by day in this week's rundown.

What opened yesterday? Peacock's ten episodes of The Paper, mostly. Wednesday's list has it, and the show has its own timing page.

Where do I find these by service? Our Netflix and Hulu, Max and Peacock pages collect them, and reality premieres get fuller treatment over at Reality On Air.
