South Park Season 29 Release Time and Schedule (2026): Every Episode Date and When It Hits Paramount+
South Park comes back tonight, two days after winning its sixth Primetime Emmy for animated program. The premiere is called "South American Biker Gangs," and the show is still going by the name it adopted in its season 29 teaser: South America.
Comedy Central has the episode at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Wednesday, Sept. 16. Paramount+ gets it the next day. After that the season settles into an every-other-Wednesday rhythm, and Comedy Central published all six dates up front:

"10 p.m. ET/PT" is cable shorthand for two feeds carrying the episode at the same local hour on each coast. Central sits an hour behind Eastern, and most Mountain systems ride the East Coast signal, which lands two hours earlier. Episodes run 30 minutes.
When does each episode reach Paramount+?
The day after it airs, in the U.S., Canada and Australia — that is the wording in Comedy Central's own announcement. Elsewhere Paramount+ carries new episodes without the broadcast window in front of them.
No hour has been attached to the streaming side. Paramount+ usually posts new arrivals in the small hours Eastern, which is when its weekly dramas show up; MobLand season 2 runs at 3 a.m. ET every Friday, for instance. Treat Thursday morning as the safe assumption rather than a promise, and if you want it the moment it exists, the cable airing is still the first window.
How many episodes is season 29?
Six are on the calendar — tonight plus Sept. 30, Oct. 14, Oct. 28, Nov. 11 and Nov. 25. TVmaze lists the same six. Comedy Central has not called Nov. 25 a season finale, and this show has a long history of adding episodes later, so the honest answer is six confirmed, not six forever.

What is the premiere about?
Comedy Central's synopsis: e-bikes arrive in South America, the boys take over the streets, and the parents of South America can hardly recognize South America. The renaming gag started with the season's first-look teaser and has not been dropped since.
Where can you watch the older seasons?
Paramount+ has the whole library. The series moved there exclusively in August 2025, when a long-running deal that had kept it on HBO Max expired, so it is no longer split across two apps.
