The week of Sept. 21 is the week the fall season stops trickling and starts arriving. A network singing franchise opens with three straight nights, Netflix reboots a sitcom that ran for six seasons, the biggest film A24 has ever released lands on HBO Max, and Sunday closes with an awards show that airs live in prime time rather than dropping at 3 a.m.

What's new on Monday, Sept. 21?

Monday is a broadcast night that spills onto streaming the next morning. The Voice opens its 30th season at 8 p.m. ET on NBC with a two-hour episode, then follows with one-hour episodes on Tuesday and Wednesday — four hours of Blind Auditions across three nights, per NBC's own season announcement. Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson return to the red chairs alongside first-timers Queen Latifah and Riley Green, with Carson Daly hosting his 30th consecutive season. Peacock carries each episode the following day.

On the streaming side Monday is quiet by design. WWE Monday Night Raw continues its weekly slot on Netflix, HBO Max adds five more episodes of the Spanish-language drama Colisión, and Hulu has a new Futurama season 14 episode plus the 2024 film Wicked.

What's new on Tuesday, Sept. 22?

Netflix's Tuesday is an Italian teen drama and a library restock. Minerva Academy (Minerva — La scuola) arrives with all eight episodes at 3 a.m. ET, and all three seasons of the cult Starz comedy Party Down join the catalogue the same morning. HBO Max has the documentary Siren: The Voices of Shelley Beattie. Peacock picks up the streaming premiere of the thriller Line of Fire along with The Voice's Monday opener. On Hulu it is a Drop: A Snowfall Saga episode at 6 p.m. PT.

What's new on Wednesday, Sept. 23?

This is the busiest weekday of the seven. The Love Hypothesis premieres exclusively on Prime Video worldwide — a complete film, so there is no weekly schedule to track. Amazon MGM Studios confirmed the Sept. 23 date in its press release, and Deadline reported it in June.

Netflix has two: Wonka's The Golden Ticket, the seven-episode competition series, and Habeas Corpus, which Netflix's own newsroom describes as its first Brazilian legal drama, led by Marjorie Estiano and Any Gabrielly and drawn from cases worked by Innocence Project Brasil. Paramount+ premieres Survivor season 51 the same night. The two-hour opener airs on CBS at 8 p.m. ET; Paramount+ Premium subscribers get the live CBS feed, Essential subscribers get it the next day. What's new on Thursday, Sept. 24?

A Different World is the headline. All 10 episodes of the Netflix sequel land at 3 a.m. ET, in the same complete-season shape Netflix uses for most of its comedies — the timing rules are in our Netflix release times explainer. Netflix also adds the Spanish-language horror My Sad Dead (Mis muertos tristes) and the library titles Oculus, House at the End of the Street and Delusion.

The other big one is American Horror Story: 13, which premieres with three episodes. FX airs it at 9 p.m. ET and Hulu's own monthly listing puts the streaming drop at 6 p.m. PT the same night. Variety and The Hollywood Reporter both have the season at 13 half-hour episodes, with three-episode weeks on Sept. 24 and Oct. 1, two-episode weeks after that, and a single-episode finale on Oct. 29. Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett and Kathy Bates return; Ariana Grande joins.

Paramount+ closes Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 4 with its 10th and final episode and premieres the unscripted Team Moms: Baseball. Prime Video has the documentary Go Deep: The DeSean Jackson Story and Thursday Night Football, Falcons at Packers, 8:15 p.m. ET. Peacock carries the America's Got Talent season 21 finale.

What's new on Friday, Sept. 25?

Three films in one morning. Backrooms reaches HBO Max — the A24 feature with Chiwetel Ejiofor and Renate Reinsve that became the studio's biggest earner at roughly $367 million worldwide, per Deadline and Variety. It also airs on HBO linear the next night, Saturday, at 8 p.m. ET. Netflix has Unabomber, the Janus Metz-directed true-crime feature with Russell Crowe, Shailene Woodley and Jacob Tremblay as the young Ted Kaczynski. Peacock takes Wes Anderson's The Phoenician Scheme as an exclusive.

On the series side, HBO Max premieres two originals, the German crime drama 4 Blocks Zero and the thriller Paolo, and Netflix opens the Spanish mystery The Final Problem (El problema final) with five episodes. Netflix also adds season 25 of Law & Order and the second episode of Steel Ball Run: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. What's new on Saturday, Sept. 26?

Saturday Night Live opens season 52 at 11:30 p.m. ET, live on NBC and simulcast on Peacock, with Knicks guard Jalen Brunson hosting and KATSEYE as musical guest. The on-demand version posts to Peacock on Sunday morning, which is why some listings file the premiere under Sept. 26 and others under Sept. 27 — both are right, depending on whether you watch it live.

HBO Max has a busy sports night: AEW Collision: Tailgate to All Out at 7 p.m. ET and the AEW All Out pay-per-view at 8 p.m. ET, plus USMNT vs. Peru at 4:30 p.m. ET. Paramount+ has UFC Fight Night: Rosas Jr. vs. Barcelos and Zuffa Boxing 11. Hulu drops all episodes of Chilean Mine Rescue: Race Against Time.

What's new on Sunday, Sept. 27?

The 2026 MTV Video Music Awards run live from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. ET (4:30 p.m. PT) on CBS and MTV, streaming live and on demand on Paramount+, with Snoop Dogg hosting, per Paramount Press Express. That is a rare prime-time live slot for a streaming week that otherwise runs on 3 a.m. drops. What is leaving this month?

Netflix's departures cluster at the end of September rather than during this week. Trackers that follow the removals list Anatomy of a Fall on Sept. 23, and on Sept. 30 four Jurassic Park films (Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park III and Jurassic World) plus the Keke Palmer and SZA comedy One of Them Days. The two trackers we checked do not agree on every mid-month date, so treat the last-day list as the reliable one and check the title page before you start something long.
