Everything New on Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, HBO Max and Peacock This Week (Sept. 21–27, 2026)

The week of Sept. 21 is the week the fall season stops trickling and starts arriving. A network singing franchise opens with three straight nights, Netflix reboots a sitcom that ran for six seasons, the biggest film A24 has ever released lands on HBO Max, and Sunday closes with an awards show that airs live in prime time rather than dropping at 3 a.m.

Below is every premiere we could confirm from Monday, Sept. 21 through Sunday, Sept. 27, arranged by the day it actually unlocks in the United States, with the drop times each service publishes. Last week's edition — Sept. 14–20 — is still up.

• Wednesday, Sept. 23 — The Love Hypothesis, Prime Video. The Ali Hazelwood adaptation with Lili Reinhart and Tom Bateman premieres globally as a single film, not a weekly series. Amazon MGM Studios announced the date in its own release.
• Thursday, Sept. 24 — A Different World, all 10 episodes, Netflix. The sequel to the 1987 Cosby Show spin-off arrives complete at 3 a.m. ET. We have the hour-by-hour breakdown on our A Different World release time page.
• Friday, Sept. 25 — Backrooms, HBO Max. A24's highest-grossing release ever (about $396.5 million worldwide) reaches streaming, with a linear HBO airing the following night at 8 p.m. ET. The same morning Netflix puts out Unabomber, the Russell Crowe true-crime feature.

What's new on Monday, Sept. 21?

Out now. Hulu has Futurama season 14, episode 9 — TVmaze lists the title as "A New New York Yankee in King Elfo's Court" — and it is the ninth of ten, which leaves only the Sept. 28 finale. The hour deserves a footnote, because the two outlets that publish a schedule for this season disagree: Business Upturn has every Monday episode unlocking at midnight Pacific, or 3 a.m. Eastern, while Primetimer puts it at midnight Eastern. Hulu also picks up the 2024 musical Wicked today — the Jon M. Chu adaptation that covers the first act of the stage show, so the story stops at intermission and the sequel is a separate film.

HBO Max keeps to its own arithmetic on Colisión. The Mexican drama opened with four episodes on Sept. 7 and has added five every Monday since, which makes today's batch episodes 10 through 14 and sets the finale for Oct. 26. Listings still disagree on how many episodes the full run holds, so we are not quoting a total until one of them is official. Then the night belongs to broadcast and to live. The Voice opens its 30th season from 8 to 10 p.m. ET on NBC, then runs one-hour episodes Tuesday and Wednesday — four hours of Blind Auditions across three nights, per NBC's own season announcement. Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson return to the red chairs alongside first-timers Queen Latifah and Riley Green, with Carson Daly hosting his 30th consecutive season. Peacock carries each episode the following day, so tonight's premiere is a Tuesday morning watch if you do not have NBC.

WWE Monday Night Raw is the one thing on this list that streams live rather than dropping: 8 p.m. ET on Netflix, tonight from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, with Money in the Bank qualifying matches on the card according to the wrestling trades. Bravo's Below Deck Mediterranean airs episode 16 of season 11 at 8 p.m. ET and reaches Peacock on Tuesday, which is how every Bravo hour works. Netflix itself adds nothing scripted today; its week starts Tuesday.

What's new on Tuesday, Sept. 22?

Netflix's Tuesday is an Italian teen drama and a library restock. Minerva Academy (Minerva — La scuola) arrives with all eight episodes at 3 a.m. ET, and all three seasons of the cult Starz comedy Party Down join the catalogue the same morning. HBO Max has the documentary Siren: The Voices of Shelley Beattie. Peacock picks up the streaming premiere of the thriller Line of Fire along with The Voice's Monday opener. On Hulu it is a Drop: A Snowfall Saga episode at 6 p.m. PT.

What's new on Wednesday, Sept. 23?

Out now. Habeas Corpus is up in full with eight episodes, the count Netflix announced and TVmaze lists. Wonka's The Golden Ticket has its first seven, with two held back, and Physical 100: Mexico added episodes 8 and 9.

This is the busiest weekday of the seven. The Love Hypothesis premieres exclusively on Prime Video worldwide — a complete film, so there is no weekly schedule to track. Amazon MGM Studios confirmed the Sept. 23 date in its press release, and Deadline reported it in June.

Netflix has two: Wonka's The Golden Ticket, the seven-episode competition series, and Habeas Corpus, which Netflix's own newsroom describes as its first Brazilian legal drama, led by Marjorie Estiano and Any Gabrielly and drawn from cases worked by Innocence Project Brasil. Paramount+ premieres Survivor season 51 the same night. The two-hour opener airs on CBS at 8 p.m. ET; Paramount+ Premium subscribers get the live CBS feed, Essential subscribers get it the next day. What's new on Thursday, Sept. 24?

Out now: TVmaze lists all 10 A Different World episodes under Sept. 24, matching Netflix's announcement. American Horror Story: 13 aired its three-episode premiere on FX at 9 p.m. ET, and all three are on Hulu now; episodes 4 through 6 follow Oct. 1.

A Different World is the headline. All 10 episodes of the Netflix sequel land at 3 a.m. ET, in the same complete-season shape Netflix uses for most of its comedies — the timing rules are in our Netflix release times explainer. Netflix also adds the Spanish-language horror My Sad Dead (Mis muertos tristes) and the library titles Oculus, House at the End of the Street and Delusion.

The other big one is American Horror Story: 13, which premieres with three episodes. FX airs it at 9 p.m. ET, and FX's announcement has it debuting on Hulu the same night — 6 p.m. PT, the same moment as the East Coast. The season runs 13 half-hour episodes: three-episode weeks on Sept. 24 and Oct. 1, two-episode weeks after that, and a single-episode finale on Oct. 29. Correction, Sept. 20 — an earlier version of this post said Ariana Grande joins the season. She does not appear in it. Deadline reported in July that she dropped out over conflicts between the shifted production dates and her Eternal Sunshine Tour, and did not shoot any scenes.

Paramount+ closes Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 4 with its 10th and final episode and premieres the unscripted Team Moms: Baseball. Prime Video has the documentary Go Deep: The DeSean Jackson Story and Thursday Night Football, Falcons at Packers, 8:15 p.m. ET. Peacock carries the America's Got Talent season 21 finale.

What's new on Friday, Sept. 25?

Out now. Three films in one morning. Backrooms reaches HBO Max — the A24 feature with Chiwetel Ejiofor and Renate Reinsve that became the studio's biggest earner — $396.5 million worldwide, per Screen Rant. It also airs on HBO linear the next night, Saturday, at 8 p.m. ET. The time-zone table, which plan you need and the 119-day trip from theaters are on our new Backrooms HBO Max page. Netflix has Unabomber, the Janus Metz-directed true-crime feature (rated R, per What's on Netflix) with Russell Crowe, Shailene Woodley and Jacob Tremblay as the young Ted Kaczynski. Peacock takes Wes Anderson's The Phoenician Scheme as an exclusive.

On the series side, Netflix released season 2 of the South African family drama Blood Legacy in one go (listings split on the episode count, so we leave it out), HBO Max premieres two originals, the German crime drama 4 Blocks Zero and the thriller Paolo, and Netflix opens the Spanish mystery The Final Problem (El problema final) with five episodes. Netflix also adds season 25 of Law & Order and the second episode of Steel Ball Run: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. What's new on Saturday, Sept. 26?

Out now. Saturday Night Live opened season 52 live on NBC and Peacock at 11:30 p.m. ET, with Knicks guard Jalen Brunson hosting and KATSEYE as musical guest. Out now. The SNL premiere is on demand on Peacock. Tonight the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards run live from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. ET (4:30 p.m. PT) on CBS and MTV, streaming live and on demand on Paramount+, with Snoop Dogg hosting, per Paramount Press Express. Netflix's departures cluster at the end of September rather than during this week. Trackers that follow the removals list Anatomy of a Fall on Sept. 23, and on Sept. 30 four Jurassic Park films (Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park III and Jurassic World) plus the Keke Palmer and SZA comedy One of Them Days.
