New on Netflix, HBO Max, Hulu, Prime Video and Peacock This Week (Sept. 28–Oct. 4, 2026)
Every premiere on the six major U.S. streaming services, Sept. 28–Oct. 4, 2026.

The week of Sept. 28 is where September's premieres give way to October's, and the first of the month does most of the lifting. Netflix opens a seven-episode Steinbeck adaptation, HBO starts an eight-week London divorce drama, a CBS summer staple crowns a winner and the Halloween film libraries turn over on nearly every service at once.

Below is every premiere we could confirm from Monday, Sept. 28 through Sunday, Oct. 4, arranged by the day it unlocks in the United States, with the drop times each service publishes. Last week's edition — Sept. 21–27 — stays up.

What's new on Monday, Sept. 28?

Out now. Netflix opened the week with Outside, a spin-off of the Sidemen's Inside: content creators dropped into a forest instead of a house, competing through challenges and temptations for a share of £1 million. It unlocked at 3 a.m. ET, and TVmaze logs episode 1 under Sept. 28; Netflix still has not published a full episode count, so we are not quoting one. Last Trace with Kaelyn Moore lands the same morning.

Hulu has episode 10 of Futurama season 14, the season finale, which closes out the ten-episode run. HBO Max adds episodes 15 through 19 of the Mexican drama Colisión, keeping its five-a-Monday rhythm toward an Oct. 26 finale. The live piece of the night is WWE Monday Night Raw, 8 p.m. ET on Netflix. Peacock picks up Mr. Mercedes seasons 1–3 and Resident Alien seasons 1–4 for the Halloween run.

What's new on Tuesday, Sept. 29?

Out now. Netflix's Tuesday leaned into variety. LEGO ONE PIECE retold the live-action show's first two seasons in brick form across two 30-minute specials — full episode and cast breakdown on our LEGO ONE PIECE release page. Fox's Murder in a Small Town landed on Netflix with both of its seasons, 18 episodes in all, ahead of its season 3 return on Fox. Comedian Sam Morril got a new hour, Incorrect, the anime film Mononoke The Movie: Chapter III – The Curse of the Serpent arrived, and Korea's Kian's Bizarre B&B added episodes 5–8. Peacock added the 2024 horror comedy Lisa Frankenstein and picked up Still Flipping Out, which streams there a day after its Bravo premiere.

Dancing with the Stars season 35 streamed live on Disney+ at 8 p.m. ET alongside ABC, then lands on Hulu Wednesday.

What's new on Wednesday, Sept. 30?

The busiest Netflix morning before the first of the month. Love Is Blind: Netherlands debuts with its first five episodes, hosted by Nicolette van Dam and Bas Smit, with more batches on Oct. 7 and Oct. 14, according to Netflix's own release-date announcement. Medusa, the Spanish-language thriller, returns for season 2. The Arena (L'Arène), a French competition series, and the documentary The Widower: 'Til Death Do Us Part round it out, and the last two episodes of Wonka's The Golden Ticket close that show's run.

At night, Survivor 51 settles into its 90-minute Wednesday slot at 8 p.m. ET on CBS, live on Paramount+ Premium. South Park season 29 airs episode 2 at 10 p.m. ET on Comedy Central and reaches Paramount+ on Thursday.

What's new on Thursday, Oct. 1?

The first of the month is where the week peaks. East of Eden arrives on Netflix with all seven episodes: Florence Pugh as Cathy Ames, Garth Davis directing the first four, Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre the last three. Netflix's day also includes the new series Did Someone Happen to Mention Me?, Ranma 1/2 season 3, the films Beat Luke Littler and Crazy Rich, Incredibly Broke, and a library drop of more than 40 licensed films, among them the Bourne collection and the Twilight Saga.

War premieres at 9 p.m. ET on HBO and streams on HBO Max at the same time. Miller plays film star Carla Duval, West plays tech entrepreneur Morgan Henderson, and the eight episodes run weekly on Thursdays, so the finale lands in late November. HBO Max's own Oct. 1 library refresh is heavy on horror: The Shining, The Exorcist, Trick 'r Treat and several A Nightmare on Elm Street films.

On Hulu, American Horror Story: 13 airs episodes 4, 5 and 6 at 9 p.m. ET on FX and streams on Hulu afterward. That is the second of six Thursdays. Hulu also restocks its Halloween shelf with Barbarian, Edward Scissorhands, the Ghostbusters films and Soulm8te, and brings in new seasons of Scrubs and Shark Tank.

Big Brother 28 ends with a 90-minute finale at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. Paramount+ Premium streams it live; every other tier gets it on demand Friday. Prime Video carries Thursday Night Football, Steelers at Browns, kicking off at 8:15 p.m. ET.

What's new on Friday, Oct. 2?

Evil Dead Burn, the latest film in Sam Raimi's franchise, starts streaming on HBO Max. Souheila Yacoub stars as a widow whose in-laws turn into Deadites; HBO's linear channel shows it Saturday at 8 p.m. ET after Evil Dead (2013) and Evil Dead Rise. On Disney+ and Hulu, Coven Academy drops all of season 1 and Adventure Time: Side Quests season 2 arrives complete. Hulu also adds The Substance.

Netflix brings the Tamil romance #Love, the film Doing Life and the documentary Schumacher '94 — The Birth of a Legend. Paramount+ has episode 3 of MobLand season 2.

One listing to check before you search Prime Video: Catherine Zeta-Jones' thriller Kill Jackie releases all eight episodes on Oct. 2 on Prime Video in the U.K., Canada, Germany and several other countries, but in the United States it goes to AMC+, according to Variety. Some listings show it under Prime Video everywhere; for U.S. viewers that is only true through the AMC+ add-on channel.

What's new on Saturday, Oct. 3?

Saturday Night Live has Dakota Johnson hosting for the third time with musical guest Turnstile, live at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC and simultaneously on Peacock. Hulu adds Hereditary and Midsommar, and Disney+ and Hulu stream day two of the Austin City Limits Music Festival.

What's new on Sunday, Oct. 4?

CBS premiere week opens with Marshals season 2 and Tracker season 4, live on Paramount+ Premium. Netflix adds the anime Blue Box season 2, and HBO Max picks up Be My Guest with Ina Garten season 8.
